Pastor Johnson was baptized in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ in March of 1990, and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost in March of 1993.
Pastor Johnson was a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, (PAW) DC, Delaware, Maryland district council for 17 years. During that time he served as an executive board member of the Brotherhood, brotherhood secretary, and assistant secretary of the Brotherhood.
In March 2002, he completed the Ministerial-Christian Worker School of Homiletics training class of the PAW, receiving his fellowship for local ministry. On June 14, 2005, he was elevated to a non-ordained elder of the PAW.

Elder Michael S. Kidd
Elder-elect Michael S. Kidd was raised at an early age the importance of living a life pleasing to God, and God's plan of Salvation by his parents, Elder Michael Kidd, Sr. Miracle Kidd, Elder Anthony Showell and Prophetess Linda Showell. As this young man grew from
childhood to adulthood, his parents both biological and non-biological made sure he had everything he needed, both spiritual and natural.
At the age of 4 years old his father, Michael Kidd Sr taught him his first prayer, therefore introducing him to his spiritual relationship with the Lord. At the age of 13, Elder Anthony and Prophetess Showell introduced him to Bishop Keith Cornish and the Greater Chief Cornerstone family, instilling the Apostolic doctrine, and water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and every summer he would attend Cornerstone with Elder Anthony and Prophetess Showell.
Elder-elect Kidd’s spiritual journey took him to Triumph Life Ministries in Stafford Virginia, under the leadership of Pastor Athol Riley, which gave him a passion for music, teaching him to play the drums, and allowing him to do his first sermonette, "Its but a light thing" a sermon heavily based on a message preached by Elder Showell. From there he attended Grace Apostolic Church in Valdosta Georgia, were he received the gift of the Holy Ghost, under the leadership of Bishop Ulysses Williams.
His journey took him back to Greater Chief Cornerstone Church, located in Cambridge, Maryland under the leadership of Bishop Keith Cornish for 15 years, serving as Armor Bearer, and Minister. Elder elect Kidd now faithfully serves the Lord at Jesus the Christ Ministries of the Apostolic Faith, Federalsburg, Maryland, under the leadership of Pastor Cornell Johnson. Elder elect Kidd serves as the discipleship teacher, Men's ministry leader, and technology director, to name a few.
JTC Ministries is a Faith Assembly of Christ World Wide Church, Bishop Mitchell Way, Presider. Elder elect Kidd and his lovely wife Amanda has been faithfully married for 16 years, and he is the proud father of Tamira, Nathan, Michael, Faith, and Ezra, and the joyful grandfather of Anthony. He also has a brother Anthony and sister Andrea who he loves.
